Pilates Cadillac
2-day weekend course
The Cadillac or Trapeze Table is the most spectacular-looking machine in the Pilates studio series. This machine introduces hanging elements, springs, bars and inversions into Pilates training with your clients or groups.
Goals of the Program
- Learn analysis of body alignment on and with the Cadillac.
- Learn to deliver the principles of J.H Pilates directly on and with the Cadillac.
- Teach flows, circuits, and creativity on and with the Cadillac.
- Combine Cadillac teaching with small apparatus.
- Create interesting classes by putting together elements on and with the Cadillac.
- Learn technical and safety skills on the Cadillac.
- Discover Functional Cadillac training
Exam / Test
There is a practical and theoretical test on the second day. The manual content, the lecture contents and the pre-script “PILATESwiss® Core Visceral Anatomy” content are all part of the test. After successfully completing the workshop one can teach this content.
Prerequisites
Requirements for this course are the building blocks for Pilates or teaching skills that you have gained to date, and the comprehension of the pre-script “PILATESwiss® Core Visceral Anatomy”. We also recommend familiarity with Pilates machines of any kind.
Duration
A total of 24 learning hours
We recognize 8 hours self-study in order to gain the content of the pre-script “PILATESwiss® Core Visceral Anatomy”.
The workshop consists of two days or 16 hours
Attest
Certificate of completion and/or Diploma of passing the PILATESwiss® Cadillac test
Teacher / Mentor
Karolina Schmid and/or a teacher trainer from the PILATESwiss® teacher trainer team depending on schedules or availability.
Cost
CHF 580.– payment in advance. This includes the pre-script “PILATESwiss® Core Visceral Anatomy” and the course manual, which is handed out during the workshop.
